CPD Selects New Officer
REVISED: 07/26/2010
Residents of Cordell will soon take notice of a new face at the police department. After a rigorous, month long selection process, a candidate has been chosen to fill the vacant, full-time position. Applications are still being accepted for multiple reserve officers.
The new officer, Dustin Harp, began his orientation on Wednesday, July 21st. Officer Harp will soon be moving to Cordell with his wife and two children. We look forward to his addition to our department and are confident he will reflect the courtesy and professionalism we expect of all our personnel.
We would also like to invite you to attend the city council meeting the evening of August 2nd, 2010. Officer Harp is set to take the oath of office during the meeting.
CORRECTION: Officer Harp has been officially sworn in and will not be taking an oath at the council meeting.
