UPDATED FEBRUARY 4th, 2010 The Oklahoma Department of Corrections (DOC) website www.doc.state.ok.us, allows for public viewing of sex offenders registered within Oklahoma. To see if a person is registered as a sex offender in a different state, click on that specific state's registry link provided on the same website www.doc.state.ok.us, in the "Sex Offender Registries" section.
It is unlawful for any person registered pursuant to the Oklahoma Sex Offenders Registration Act to be within 300 feet of any elementary or junior high school, licensed child care facility, or playground if they have been convicted of lewd molestation, rape or sodomy in this state or any simi liar offense of another state or the United States and the victim was a child under 13 years of age. It is now unlawful for 2 registered sex offenders to reside together in any individual dwelling during the term of registration. First violation is a misdemeanor, second or subsequent violations can be punished as a felony.
