VEHICLE UNLOCK (NOT OFFERED AFTER 10/31/12)
The Cordell Police Department will unlock your vehicle if you happen to lock the keys inside. The service is free. There are a few requirements before we can unlock your vehicle. They are:
- You must be present during the operation
- The vehicle must have current registration
- You must show proof of ownership

In the event of a dead battery, the Cordell Police Department will jump start your car. We provide the jumper cables. The service is free. Please be ready when the officer arrives. Failure to do so may result in canceled service.
You may reserve the precinct room at the police department for your event. Municipal court takes place within the room, so reservations cannot be made on court dates. The reservation is free. Event restrictions may apply. Cordell Police Department may deny reservations if it finds the room is needed for government operations. Please call for more information.
RIDES TO/FROM WORK
If you find yourself stranded, let use know. We offer rides to and from work. The service is free. This service is not intended for repeated use. You cannot use this service so you can save on gas money. Call only if your vehicle is disabled and you do not intend to rely on us for everyday transportation. Passengers are required to sign a liability waiver.
PLEASE NOTE: These are non-emergency services unrelated to police business. Due to the personnel level of this department, some services may be denied while officers are in the discharge of their primary duties. Please consider this before requesting service.
